Terms & Conditions

Graphix Haus (UK)

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Graphix Haus (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any client (“you”, “your”). By commissioning services from Graphix Haus, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Services

Graphix Haus provides creative and marketing services including, but not limited to graphic design, branding and logo design, website design and development, marketing and promotional services, and content creation. All services will be agreed in writing prior to commencement.

 

2. Quotes & Proposals

All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Quotes are based on information supplied at the time of quoting. Any work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

 

3. Acceptance of Work

Acceptance may be confirmed by written confirmation (email or signed agreement), payment of the required deposit, or instruction to commence work. Once accepted, the project is subject to these Terms & Conditions.

 

4. Payment Terms

A deposit of 50% is required before work begins. The remaining balance is payable upon completion or at agreed milestones. Invoices are payable within 7 or 14 days as stated on the invoice. Late payments may incur interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, at 8% above the Bank of England base rate. Graphix Haus reserves the right to pause or withhold work until payment is received.

 

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All work remains the intellectual property of Graphix Haus until full payment is received. Upon full payment, ownership of the final approved deliverables transfers to the client unless otherwise agreed in writing. Drafts, concepts, and unused designs remain the property of Graphix Haus. Graphix Haus retains the right to display completed work in portfolios, on websites, and in marketing materials.

Any work displayed in our portfolio consists of previous and existing clients, as well as clients our designers have worked for on a freelance basis or through employment.

 

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely content and feedback, confirm that you have the legal right to use any supplied materials, and review and approve work promptly. Delays caused by the client may affect timelines and costs.

 

7. Revisions

Reasonable revisions are included as outlined in the agreed scope. Additional revisions or changes in direction may be charged at an agreed hourly rate. Significant changes after approval may require a revised quote.

 

8. Website Design & Development

Websites are tested on current versions of major browsers; full compatibility across all devices cannot be guaranteed. Graphix Haus is not responsible for third-party software, plugins, hosting providers, or updates. Hosting, maintenance, security updates, and backups are not included unless agreed separately. The client is responsible for content accuracy and legal compliance.

 

9. Marketing Services

Marketing results cannot be guaranteed. Any forecasts or performance estimates are indicative only. Graphix Haus is not responsible for changes to third-party platforms, algorithms, or advertising policies.

 

10. Third-Party Costs

Third-party services such as hosting, domains, stock imagery, fonts, print, and advertising spend are charged separately unless stated otherwise. Graphix Haus is not liable for delays, failures, or errors caused by third-party suppliers.

 

11. Cancellation & Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in writing. All work completed up to the termination date is chargeable. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Graphix Haus may terminate services for non-payment or breach of these Terms.

 

12. Refunds

Due to the nature of creative services, refunds are not provided for completed or partially completed work. Any issues must be raised promptly in writing.

 

13. Liability

Graphix Haus shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the services giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for loss of profits, data, or business interruption.

 

14. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential information private unless disclosure is required by law.

 

15. Force Majeure

Graphix Haus shall not be liable for delays or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, technical failures, or events outside our control.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

 

17. Amendments

Graphix Haus reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms apply to new projects only.
